PURPOSE: An apparatus for correcting the timing of a time switch in a switch is provided to automatically correct delay generated according to the length of a PCM(Pulse Code Modulation) highway cable when connecting the time switch for interworking between the switch and a system, through a DTMF(Dual Tone Multiple Frequency) and the time switch. CONSTITUTION: A main process module(100) generates a DTMF signal, switches the generated DTMF signal, and outputs the switched DTMF signal through a PCM highway cable. The main process module(100) receives a DTMF signal inputted from the PCM highway cable, judges whether delay is generated, and performs a correction function according to the judged result. A line process module(200) performs the loop-back switching of the DTMF signal outputted from the main process module(100) through the PCM highway cable, and inputs the DTMF signal to the main process module(100) through the PCM highway cable.
