The strip drilling machine has a support rail (2) statically arranged in a support frame (1) and drilling units (3) displaceably located on the support rail. The drilling units are coupled to one another by a shear bar (4). Each drilling unit statically supports a bearing plate (6), on which a clamp plate (7) is movable. A control stand (5) is provided, from which the drill (8) in the drilling unit can be set in operation. The clamp plate is moved on the bearing plate via the intermediary of the strip to be machined, and the drill penetrates the workpiece. Each drill unit in the area of the workpiece accommodation (9) formed by the bearing plate and the clamp plate has an adjustable length stop.
