PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and structure for installing a terminal connector capable of making an automatic transmission compact and lightweight, and effectively wiring in the method and the structure for installing the terminal connector which collects together wiring of the automatic transmission. SOLUTION: The terminal connector comprises a case of the transmission for housing the transmission portion and control valve unit; and the terminal connector which collects together a plurality of wires, and is installed on an open portion used for a terminal arranged on the case of the transmission, and is connected with wiring for the outside of the case of the transmission. The terminal connector is installed on the open portion used for the terminal by pulling a pointed head of the terminal connector from the outside of the case of the transmission to an outward direction of the case of the transmission.
