PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide shape steel formed in a shape that a pigeon does not nest as a means in which a pigeon environmental-pollution problem can be solved economically and advantageously. SOLUTION: In shape steel having flanges 2 and 2A one by one at both width ends of a web 1, either one (such as the flange 2A) of the two flanges 2 and 2A has a flange grade at a grade angleαof 30°or more, preferably 35°or more, more preferably 45°or more on both surface sides of the web 1 in shape steel 100.
