PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid dryer stably operated with excellent drying efficiency without a dried object being retained as a lump in a fluid bed, and to provide an apparatus for drying an emulsionpolymerized polymer having the fluid dryer, and a method for drying the emulsion-polymerized polymer using the apparatus. SOLUTION: This fluid dryer is provided with a casing 14 divided in a fluid bed chamber 12 and a ventilating chamber 13 by a gas dispersion plate 11; a ventilating means for blowing heated gas into the ventilating chamber 13; a dried object supply port 16 for supplying a dried object to the fluid bed chamber 12; a dried matter discharge port 17 for discharging a dried matter from the fluid bed chamber 12; partition plates 25 for partitioning the lower part of the fluid bed chamber 12 into a plurality of tanks 18-24 between the dried object supply port 16 and the dried matter discharge port 17, and an agitator 42 for agitating the dried object in the first tank 18 supplied first with the dried object from the dried object supply port 16.
