<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition containing a pigment homogeneously dispersed in a solvent and a block polymer having an ionic functional group, an image-forming method using the ink composition and an image-forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The invention provides an ink composition containing a pigment, a solvent and a block polymer having an ionic functional group, an acid residue or a base residue on the terminal, an image-forming method using the ink composition and an image-forming apparatus.
