<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet color ink set which may generate a color image showing a minimized variation in gloss levels among various colors in the color image. <P>SOLUTION: A color set for forming ink-jet images contains inks of at least two colors, wherein each ink contains a carrier and a pigment. The relative gloss variation (RGV) among the inks, which is obtained by formula (A) [wherein AG is defined by formula (B); I is a variable for identifying a specific color patch used for evaluation; and N is the total number of color patches used for evaluation] employing an angle of reflection of 60°, is <10%. Although gloss variations are evaluated after inks are attached and dried on a receptor, the present invention relates to a process which is a part of ink selection and printing process and not to a separate process performed after printing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
