<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which can perform accurate and fast charge computation and charge computation with high job efficiency and a charge computing method in the image forming device. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device comprises an image formation processor 2 and a charging device 3; and a form size signal PS, a paper feed signal PF, a side count signal SC, a clear signal CL, etc., are sent from a CPU 21 to the charging device 3 and a copy permission signal CA is sent from the charging device 3 to the CPU 21. For image formation on both the sides of a form, a 1st paper feed signal PF1 for forming an image on a 1st surface and a 2nd paper feed signal PF2 for forming an image on a 2nd surface are sent and then a 1st side count signal SC1 generated accompanying image formation on the 1st surface and a 2nd side count signal SC2 generated accompanying image formation on the 2nd surface are sent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
