<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of effectively using light of a light source. <P>SOLUTION: A light guide plate 2 is disposed in front of a reflective LCD1, and a square light guide 3 is fixed to the light guide plate 2. The square light guide 3 is wrapped with a reflector 4 and fixed to the light guide plate 2 by the reflector 4. A white LED5 is disposed at one end of the square light guide 3, and an end reflecting surface 4a is provided to the other end side by the reflector 4. The light of the white LED5 is reflected on the end reflecting surface 4a and then returned into the square light guide 3, so the light is effectively used without wasting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
