PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a through current, to enhance power efficiency, and to prevent break of a switching element in a pulse amplifier. SOLUTION: The pulse amplifier is provided with a first switching means to which a first power is supplied and which is on/off controlled by a first input signal, a second switching means to which a second power is supplied and which is on/off controlled, a first detection means which detects that the first input signal is the one for performing on-control of the first switching means, a second detection means which detects a second input signal, a first discharging means which discharges electric charges stored in parasitic capacitance held by the first switching means when the second detection means detects that the second input signal is the one for performing on-control of the second switching means, and a second discharging means which discharges the electric charges when the first detection means detects the first input signal.
