PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a reproduction start period of time by performing no disk decision processing when a disk which was reproduced once is selected and reproduced again. SOLUTION: The disk reproducing device is equipped with a reproduced disk number detecting means 17 which detects the number of the selected disk and a disk decision result storage means 12 which decides the detected disk by a disk decision means 10 and stores the decision result; when the disk stored in the disk decision result storage means 12 is selected again, the stored information is used to set reproduction conditions.
