PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating a state of a contamination by an endocrine-disrupting substance, by using an animal suitable as a monitoring object, when the contamination by the endocrine-disrupting substance is investigated. SOLUTION: The evaluation method for the contamination by the endocrine- disrupting substance comprises an immunoreaction process, in which a vitellogenin antibody used to specifically recognize vitellogenin, derived from a freshwater turtle, is made to react with a body fluid of the freshwater turtle as a detection object of the vitellogenin, and an immunoreaction decision process used to decide the existence of an immunoreaction by the vitellogenin antibody.
