摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a probe for detecting biological light capable of easily achieving and implementing a compact and inexpensive probe and installing a large number on a specimen having a limited installation space and to provide an apparatus using the same for detecting the biological light. SOLUTION: The biological light detecting probe 20 is provided with a graded index rod lens 21, a capillary 23 for holding an optical fiber 22, and a tube 24 for holding them. Light supplied from a light source through the optical fiber 22 is condensed by the graded index rod lens 21 to irradiate a biological tissue 25. Detected light achieved from the biological tissue 25 is coupled with the irradiation light into the optical fiber 22 by the graded index rod lens 21. Since the biological light detecting probe 20 has a small number of component parts and a simple structure, it is possible to achieve the inexpensive biological light detecting probe 20.
