摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sleeve brick for an electrode hole that can improve the unit consumption of an electrode by preventing the generation of spark between the electrode and the sleeve brick with simple constitution. SOLUTION: This sleeve brick 20 for the electrode hole is provided along the inner periphery of the electrode hole 24 which is a through hole formed in a furnace cover of an electric furnace to insert a columnar or cylindrical electrode 25 through, and formed in cylindrical shape extending in the direction of an axis 32 so that the inner diameter center C2 of the cylinder is eccentric to the outer diameter center C1 of the cylinder which is an axis in a cross section perpendicular to the axis 32. It is preferable to form the sleeve brick 20 so that the ratio (d1/d2) of the inner diameter d1 of the cylinder of the sleeve brick 20 to the outer diameter d2 of the electrode 25 is in a range of 1.10-1.20.
