PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric razor with which sufficient shaving is carried out by previously making hair easy to enter an outer blade before cutting treatment of the hair. SOLUTION: Pairs of an outer blade and an inner blade are constituted before and after a razor head 2, and an outer blade 23 of the rear pair functions as an electrode part. Thus, before mustache is shaved with the inner blade 20 and the outer blade 21 of the front pair, the outer blade 23 of the rear pair applies voltage to generate raising action and hair removing action, and the blades 22 and 23 of the rear pair cut it. Even after cutting, the hair is made easy to cut by the raising action and hair removing action and cut by the blades 20 and 21 of the front pair, so that deep shaving is achieved.
