PURPOSE: A printing sheet structure of a backlight unit of a liquid crystal display is provided to simplify a printing operation to improve reliability of the backlight unit and reduce the price of the backlight unit. CONSTITUTION: A backlight unit of a liquid crystal display includes a fluorescent lamp, a lamp reflector located surrounding the fluorescent lamp, a diffusion sheet(29), prism sheets(31,33) and a protection sheet(35), which are arranged on a light guide(25) and stacked in a mold frame(21), and a reflecting plate(23) placed under the light guide. A printing sheet(27) is placed between the light guide and diffusion sheet.
