PURPOSE: A power apparatus of a photopolymerization machine for a dental surgery is provided to improve the stability by employing an insulating power-factor improvement unit. CONSTITUTION: A power-factor improvement unit(21) receives 110-220V(Volt) of an AC(Alternating Current) from an input AC power source(20) to improve a power-factor and convert it into a DC(Direct Current) to input it to a lamp driver(23). The lamp driver(23) receives the power from the power-factor improvement unit(21) to drive a lamp(27) with a constant current. The lamp driver(23) maintains an output voltage of the power-factor improvement unit(21), when the lamp(27) is turned off. When the lamp(27) is turned on, the lamp driver(23) varies a voltage in order to control that a constant current is flowed into the lamp(27). An igniter(25) generates an initial high voltage required for turning on the light(27).
