SYSTEM FOR SEARCHING PVR VIDEO

PURPOSE: A system for searching PVR(Personal Video Recorder) video is provided to realize non-linear search playing video at various speed according to attributes of moving pictures. CONSTITUTION: A PID(Packet Identifier) filter(100) is provided so that a user selects MPEG(Moving Picture Experts Group) bit stream transported in real time. An indexing unit(110) directly receives a program selected from the PID filter in real time or generates an index file and a histogram file from the selected program. A control unit(120) contains the index file and the histogram file generated from the indexing unit. A hard disk(130) controls the real-time program, the index file and the histogram file for storing the same through a PCI(Peripheral Component Interconnect) bus.
