MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR POWDER WITH HIGH TANNIN CONTENT AND USE FOR THE POWDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a powder with high tannin content by grinding a tannin-containing plant such as the bark of a monterey pine or the like and classifying the ground matter to obtain desired fine particles with a particle size of 100-1,000 μm, and the powder with high tannin content obtained by this manufacturing method.

SOLUTION: The powder with high tannin content shows excellent characteristics as an adhesive, a binder or the like for a woody material because this powder shows action equal to that of a tannin powder in various points such as the reactivity with formaldehyde or the like.
