PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reproducing head having a narrow track wherein a reproducing sensitivity is larger, but there is no Barkhausen noise. SOLUTION: Two free ferromagnetic films are formed, the magnetic moments thereof are directed in anti-parallel with each other, and a magnetic flux constitutes a closed loop. Thus, a magnetic domain is sufficiently controlled even by a relatively weak magnetic domain control force which uses an antiferromagnetic film, and no Barkhausen noise is generated.
