PURPOSE: A system and a method for offering information equipped to mass transportation are provided to audiovisually offer correct course guide to a passenger of a mass transportation, and to offer the information such as news and life information by a DARC(Data Radio Channel) signal. CONSTITUTION: A GPS(Global Positioning System) receiving module(10) receives a GPS signal from a satellite and calculates the current position information in real-time based on the received signal. A DARC receiving module(20) receives the DARC signal from a broadcasting station, demodulates the information data included in the DARC signal, and stores it in a DARC memory(22) temporarily. An operation part(30) operates the position on a current course of the transportation tool by loading the current position information and the information data in the DARC memory(22). A map playing part(60), a guide sentence playing part(70), a guide voice playing part(80), and a DARC information playing part(90) play the audiovisual guide information according to a control signal of the operation part(30). |
