PURPOSE: A heat exchanger is provided to improve heat transfer performance by reducing a dead zone formed on a tail side of a heat transfer tube. CONSTITUTION: Slits(41,42,46,47) on a first row and a fifth row placed on sides of a base surface of a heat transfer fin(10) through which air flows in and out are divided into two of unit slits, respectively. Slits(43,44,45) on a second row, a third row and a fourth row formed on a center of the base surface are formed with a single unit slit, respectively. The unit slits on the first row and the fifth row are formed to be inclined to neighboring joining holes(30). The unit slits on the first row, the second row, the fourth row and the fifth row are formed as equiangular trapezoids. The slits on the third row are formed as rectangles. The unit slits on the first row and the fifth row are inclined to the neighboring joining holes by 20 deg. The slits on the second row, the third row and the fourth row are formed with the single unit slits to allow air divided by the unit slits on the first row to evenly flow on a heat transfer tube(20) on the base surface of the heat transfer fin.
