PURPOSE: A method for arranging a fiber bundle to a laser diode employing a micro lens is provided to improve the convenience of arranging work of the micro lens by arranging a cylindrical micro lens using a lamp. CONSTITUTION: A fiber bundle base(32) is comprised of a silicon or a metal, such as an aluminum and a copper. The fiber bundle base(32) is provided with a plurality of V-shaped grooves(34). A fiber bundle(33) is inserted into the V-shaped grooves(34) and fixed thereto using an ultra violet adhesive. The fiber bundle(33), which is arranged on the V-shaped grooves(34), is polished so that an end of the fiber bundle(33) is matched to an edge of the fiber bundle base(32). In order to arrange a cylindrical micro lens(30) to the edge of the fiber bundle base(32), a light from a lamp is irradiated to another end of the fiber bundle(33). Arranging the cylindrical micro lens(30) is performed by using a camera(20) while examining the light transmitted from the cylindrical micro lens(30) at a distance from the edge of the fiber bundle base(32).
