<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk drive obtaining the sensitivity of an always stable tracking error signal by eliminating the difference in reflectivity generated by the difference between the inner periphery and the outer periphery of the optical disk. <P>SOLUTION: When the change of sensitivity in the tracking error signal is generated by that the reflectivity of the reflected light obtained by irradiating the optical disk D with laser beams is deviated from the reference reflectivity of this optical disk D, the amount of the change of sensitivity of the tracking error signal due to the fluctuation of the reflectivity is cancelled by adjusting the optical power of the laser beams by the changed amount of this sensitivity so that the reflectivity of the optical disk D becomes the same as the above reference reflectivity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
