<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a band assigning device capable of validly and fairly distributing an assignable common band by reducing the influence of a fraction generated at the time of performing an arithmetic operation. <P>SOLUTION: This band distributing device is provided with a distributing means for distributing an assignable common band to each of a plurality of circuits in each band assignment cyclic period by packet units and a distribution band adjusting means 30 for detecting the fractional band which can not be distributed at the time of distributing the common band at a prescribed band rate in one band assignment cyclic period as a residual band, and for redistributing the residual band detected in each band assignment cyclic period to a prescribed line, and for deciding a line being the target of redistribution in each period so that the distribution rate of the residual band to be redistributed to each line can be turned into a prescribed value at the time of averaging it in a plurality of band assignment cyclic periods. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
