PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic photoreceptor in which the problem of a faulty cleaning caused by a fault part of the end of a coating layer caused after removing the coating layer of an unnecessary part such as a liquid bank part at the lower end of the cylindrical organic photoreceptor is solved, and to provide a manufacture method of the organic photoreceptor, and to provide a cleaning method and an image forming apparatus using the organic photoreceptor. SOLUTION: The organic photoreceptor having the coating layer including a photoreceptive layer on cylindrical base substance, is characterized in that the locus of the end of the coating layer is meandered or inclined in the circumferential direction.
