PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source whose band is wide and whose spatical coherence is high. SOLUTION: A single-mode optical fiber is passed through the inside of an insulator tube in which a heating wire is wound on its outer circumference, a core for the optical fiber is heated so as to obtain blackbody radiation light, and the light is taken out from the core. The optical fiber is passed through the inside of the insulator tube in a plurality of numbers of times so as to increase its light intensity. A mirror is installed at one open end of the optical fiber, and the light intensity to be taken out from the other open end is doubled. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
