PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner having high opacifying property, giving an image having no fading nor a rough appearance, hardly causing shaving of a film on an OPC photoreceptor drum, realizing a long life of the drum and having excellent fixing property, even in a single component toner. SOLUTION: The single component electrophotographic toner is used to form a thin layer of the toner by pressing a toner layer regulating member to the surface of a developing roller.
