PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily remote-control electrical equipment for domestic and industrial use by a portable telephone without requiring a server or providing a remote control transmitter. SOLUTION: A ten key sound conversion adapter 5 for remote control based on sounds generated by the input of a ten key 3 in a portable telephone 1 or in an ordinary telephone is connected to the portable telephone 1, and the sounds generated by the input of the ten key 3 through the communications of another portable telephone 2 or of the ordinary telephone are digitally converted to remote-control a control equipment 4.
