PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain pipe structure which ensures good storage, in a building, of a draining horizontal branch pipe in which drainage generated at equipment on each story is conjoined, and contributes to an improved degree of freedom in plan design of each story. SOLUTION: The drain pipe structure is constructed so as to allow drainage including human waste to naturally flow down. An equipment drain pipe 2 (2a to 2d) has a nominal diameter of 75 mm and is formed of a resin, while the draining horizontal branch pipe 3 (3a to 3c) has a nominal diameter of 100 mm and is formed of a resin. Then, the equipment drain pipe and the draining horizontal branch pipe are arranged in the building so that the gradient of both the pipes is set in a range not smaller than 1/200 and smaller than 1/100.
