PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily recognize that each equipment has the same system, to facilitate file transfer operation, and to avoid complication of the system itself, concerning file transfer between each equipment. SOLUTION: A folder structure 41 in a digital camera body 11 is detected by a monitoring resident software 61 which is resident in a PC 30, and file analysis is performed for analyzing whether a recognition file 45 of this information transfer system 1 exists in the detected folder structure 41 or not. The monitoring resident software 61 starts a copy application software 62 in the PC 30 based on the analysis result in order to copy an image file 46 in the digital still camera 11.
