PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure that promotes smoke density reduction and efficient combustion in a furnace. SOLUTION: A furnace air induction chamber 2 is defined in front of a mixture induction chamber 1, while an induction clearance 3 is ensured. A mixture jetted from a fuel nozzle is jetted into a furnace while sufficiently heating the mixture induction chamber 1 and the furnace air induction chamber 2. The induction clearance is then depressurized to induce furnace air heated by heated induction clearance walls in the furnace air induction chamber 2. A sufficient combustion temperature can be thus ensured to reduce smoke density. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
