PURPOSE: A buffer hinge for operating a door is provided to control the operating speed of a door simply, to prevent accidents caused by a door by operating a door smoothly, to minimize the required cost for installation and maintenance and to extend the life of a hinge. CONSTITUTION: The buffer hinge for operating a door comprises: a hydraulic buffer hinge(10) containing an operation unit installed in an upper housing joined with a door moving plate provided with many fastening holes to restore a door automatically using the torsional tension of a spring, and a buffer unit installed in a lower housing connected vertically to the lower side of the upper housing to control the operating speed of a door(1) by a flow of pressure oil filled in the lower housing by moving a piston vertically by the rotation of a cam; and a spring buffer hinge(30) coupling an upper housing and a lower housing to be connected vertically to the lower side of the door(1), where the hydraulic buffer hinge(10) is installed, and containing springs to increase torsional tension of the spring to restore the door(1) more elastically.
