PURPOSE: A device and a method for controlling the pre-heating of an engine of a fuel/cell vehicle are provided to improve performance by protecting a fuel/cell stack in winter and to perform the function of a heater. CONSTITUTION: A device for controlling the pre-heating of an engine of a fuel/cell vehicle comprises a pre-heater(210), a battery(220), a key switch(230), and an ECU(Electronic Control Unit,240). The pre-heater connected to an air path(200) heats the air flowing into the fuel/cell for a predetermined temperature with response to the input of a drive control signal. The battery generates power for starting and supplies power for the pre-heater while the pre-heater is driven. The key switch controls the starting of the engine depending on the switching state. The control unit controls the drive control signal supplied to the pre-heater depending on the switching state of the key switch.
