<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for connecting a link connector (12) to a U-link (14). <P>SOLUTION: The U-link comprises a pair of arms (20, 22) and a hole (28, 30) passing through each of the arms. The link connector comprises a first end (40) having an elastomer section on which the hole is formed. This method comprises a step of installing a support washer (70) having a hole (74) passing through the washer, adjacent to the elastomer section of the link connector, and a step of inserting a fastener through the hole of the U-link, hole of the support washer, and hole of the elastomer of the link connector, to connect the link connector and the support washer to the U-link so that the link connector can be fixed by the fastener between the U-link arms and the support washer can thermally insulate at least one part of the elastomer section of the link connector. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
