PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker capable of recycling or/and separately aborting speaker components by simultaneously fixing a frame to a magnetic circuit and fixing a damper to the frame without the use of calking and a joining means and to provide a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: A bottom of the frame 7 is placed on a top plate 5 configuring the magnetic circuit, an outer circumferential edge 9a of the damper 9 is pressed into contact onto a damper loading part 7c formed on the bottom side of the frame, a ring shaped retaining member 11 is stacked on the outer circumferential edge 9a of the damper 9, screws 12 are inserted to a plurality of through-holes formed to parts at which the retaining member 11, the outer circumferential edge 9a of the damper 9 and the frame 7 are opposed to each other, and the tip of the screw 12 is screw-fastened to the top plate 5 to integrally connect the frame 7, the damper 9 and the magnetic circuit.
