PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pivot bearing structure for a supporting device capable of facilitating the vertical angle adjusting operation of a thin type display or the like supported by the supporting device and preventing a supported body from being brought downwards by the gravity or an operation from becoming heavy especially even when supporting the body such as a large-sized thin type display. SOLUTION: A large-sized press fixing plate 1 for clamping the end part P1 of a supporting arm P from the left and right is provided. A small-sized press fixing plate 2 provided on a fixture 4 connecting the supported body Q and respectively arranged on the inner side of a pair of supporting pieces 3 for clamping the end of the supporting arm P from the outer side of the large-sized press fixing plate 1 is provided. By a latch mechanism 10 provided through the fixture 4 and the large-sized press fixing plate 1, the supporting piece 3 and the small-sized press fixing plate 2 are brought into slidable contact when adjusting the body Q upwards.
