摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a common rail type fuel injection system capable of obtaining effects of pilot injection by correcting to increase a pilot injection volume at a transition time more than that at a steady time, and correcting to advance a main injection starting time more than that at the steady running time. SOLUTION: When a current running condition is judged as acceleration running, the pilot injection volume is corrected in a manner that the pilot injection volume (QPILOT) is increased by a correction volume (ΔQPILOT), and the main injection starting time is corrected in a manner that a main injection starting time (TMAIN) is advanced by a correction volume (ΔTMAIN). Thereby, a spark of the pilot injection is made large even when a common rail pressure (Pc) is lower than a target common rail pressure (Pt) by more than a certain defined value due to delay of control of a supply pump. Thus, before the spark and heat amount due to the pilot injection are distinguished, the main injection is performed, so as to obtain effects for reducing combustion noises. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
