PURPOSE: A method of producing a garlic pill having no tackiness without the use of additives or excipients is provided. The pill product retains natural garlic components as it were and is eliminated in smelling of garlic and thus can be effectively used as a garlic health food. CONSTITUTION: Washed garlic is roasted for 4 to 6hr in an oven at 110 to 150deg.C while turing it upside down 5 to 8 times and then cooled to room temperature. Thereafter, the roasted garlic is ground to 100 to 200meshes, added with diluted garlic juice, kneaded and then aged to form garlic dough. Then, the garlic dough is extruded to 2 to 5mm, cut to 15 to 25cm, dried for 3 to 6hr at room temperature and rotated for 4 to 5hr at 15 to 20rpm to make a garlic pill, which is sprayed with diluted garlic juice, dried for 3 to 5hr in a hot air drier to make a final product having a moisture content of 2 to 3%.
