PURPOSE: A smart window using electrochromic material and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to be capable of reducing the time used for electrochromism and partially driving a predetermined electrochromic region by dividing an entire glass window into a plurality of electrochromic regions. CONSTITUTION: A smart window is provided with the first glass substrate, the first transparent electrodes spaced apart from each other, installed at the upper portion of the first glass substrate, an oxide titanium layer located on the upper portion of the first transparent electrode, a solid electrolyte layer formed on the entire surface of the resultant structure, an inorganic electrochromic material layer formed on the solid electrolyte layer corresponding to the oxide titanium layer, the second transparent electrode located on the upper portion of the inorganic electrochromic material layer, and the second glass substrate formed on the entire surface of the resultant structure. Preferably, the entire smart window is divided into a plurality of electrochromic regions by using the first transparent electrode, the oxide titanium layer, the inorganic electrochromic material layer, and the second transparent electrode.
