<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize environment organization independent from an information communication terminal in environment setting of an information communication network of the information communication terminal. <P>SOLUTION: This communication network environment setting method is executed by a communication network environment setting program comprising a computer program executable on the information communication terminal. In the method, two processes are executed successively, namely, a browser discrimination process for discriminating a browser software utilizable by the information communication terminal 1 at the start time of the information communication terminal 1, and a user information setting process for storing user identification information stored in a storage medium in a specified storage area specified by the browser software discriminated in the browser discrimination process by using a portable storage medium 2 storing user identification information for a specific user, equipped with a user authentication function, and mountable on/dismountable from the information communication terminal 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
