PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote safety of discrimination data of an electronic key.

SOLUTION: The electronic key 10 having the discrimination data registered thereon is put on a person M. Key data is registered to an electronic lock device 20 equipped with a lock mechanism 20 for locking and unlocking an object Ob. A contact electrode 21 is attached to the electronic lock device 20, and when the person equipped with the electronic key 10 is brought into contact with the contact electrode 21, discrimination data is transmitted to the electronic lock 20 from the electronic key 10 by making the human being as a transmission line. When the discrimination data satisfying established conditions to key data set in advance is found in data registered in the electronic key 10, the electronic lock device 20 opens and closes the lock mechanism 29. A path for writing the discrimination data of the electronic key 10 is separately provided from a path for transmitting the discrimination data to the electronic lock device 20.
