PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for notifying a higher layer of a packet satisfying a predetermined condition even in the case of the packet which has a node other than a self-node as a destination. SOLUTION: In a communication method for transmitting and receiving a packet and notifying the higher layer of information on a prescribed packet, whether a first packet satisfies a first condition is checked and whether to store information of the first packet is determined (a). When the information of the first packet is determined to be stored, information to be used as a second condition is extracted from the first packet (b). Whether a second packet satisfies the second condition is checked, and whether to notify the upper layer of the information of the second packet is determined (c).
