PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation controller 150 of an engine-driven system for providing ventilation that matches the environmental and operating conditions of the system. SOLUTION: The system includes a ventilating fan 21 for ventilating the interior of a device 140 by admitting fresh air, a controller 150 for controlling the ventilating fan 21, a fresh air temperature sensor 23 for detecting the temperature of fresh air, and a speed sensor 24 for detecting the load of an engine 1. The controller 150 varies the amount that the ventilating fan 21 ventilates, based on the temperature of the fresh air detected by the sensor 23 and the engine load detected by the speed sensor 24. Thus, the ventilation controller of the engine driven system provides ventilation matching the environmental and operating conditions of the engine, preventing problems such as wasting electric power due to excessive ventilation, and causing leakage due to snow, etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
