摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure light in weight and with high toughness and high strength. SOLUTION: Arcs R3, R4 are formed on both faces in a plate-thickness direction of a rib 13 in the vicinity of a knot area 20 of a face plate 12 of a hollow shape material and the rib 13. The rib 13 and the arc R3 are smoothly connected. The diameters of the R3 and the R4 are equal. Positions in the longitudinal direction of the rib 13 in a connecting part 15 of the rib 13 and the arc R3 and the connecting part 16 of the rib 13 and the arc R4 are substantially aligned. The toughness and the strength of the structural body are enhanced since local large deformation and high stress generated at the rib 13 in the vicinity of the knot area 20 are reduced when an out-of-plane shearing load is applied to the structural body. This is caused in such a manner that bending deformation of the rib 13 in the vicinity of the knot area 20 is suppressed by adding the arcs R3, R4 to the central axis of the plate thickness of the rib 13 as a symmetrical shape, and stress concentration generated at the rib 13 in the vicinity of the knot area 20 is reduced by smoothly connecting the rib 13 and the arcs R3, R4 with large diameters.
