PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a western style toilet stool which makes it difficult for waste water falling along an outer peripheral surface of the toilet stool to reach a floor surface. SOLUTION: In this western style toilet stool, a petticoat part is provided at least on the front side of a toilet stool body, which is extended below a bowl part. The toilet stool is characterized in that a protrusion for receiving a water droplet falling along an outer peripheral surface of the bowl part and that of the petticoat part is provided between an uppermost position on an outer peripheral front surface of the bowl part and a lowermost position in the petticoat part on the front side of the toilet stool body. Preferably, a water- droplet retention part is provided in the protrusion. More preferably, a guiding step part, whose lower side is protruded, is provided from the side surface part of the bowl part to the protrusion. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
