PURPOSE: Provided is an auxiliary battery device of a movable audio or video player, which has a means capable of preventing reverse voltage generated by inserting an auxiliary battery incorrectly and has structure capable of joining various player bodies stably. CONSTITUTION: The auxiliary battery device(30) of the movable audio or video player contains: a case body(31) putting the auxiliary battery(32) therein; a door formed on the side or the upper part of the case body(31) to put the auxiliary battery(32) in the case body(31) or to exchange; a plurality of pole ribs(53) made of insulating material which is formed in the shape of projection near a (+)electrode terminal(50) and dose not connect a (-)electrode of the auxiliary battery(32) to the (+)electrode terminal(50) when the auxiliary battery(32) is inserted in the reverse direction, wherein a (-)electrode terminal(33) having the shape of a compressed spring is mounted on the inner bottom of the case body(31) and the (+)electrode terminal(50) is mounted on the case body(31) or the door.
