摘要 PURPOSE: A passive matrix type organic electroluminescence device and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to reduce manufacturing procedures and costs and protect a light emitting layer from damages, while allowing for ease of control of cathode pattern. CONSTITUTION: A passive matrix type organic electroluminescence device comprises a first electrode(102) formed in a first direction on a substrate(100); a light emitting layer(104) formed all over the substrate covering the first electrode; and a second electrode(114) formed on the light emitting layer and arranged in a second direction crossing the first direction. The second electrode is formed by a thermal transfer method using a polydimethyl siloxane mold which has a convex-concave satisfying the formulas W/L=0.2 to 20 and D>=Lx20, wherein W is the width of the concave portion, L is the length of the concave portion, and D is the distance between concave portions.
