PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink which is used for ink jet printing and has excellent storage stability with time and an excellent ink jetting property, and to provide a color filter produced by using the ink for the ink jet printing.

SOLUTION: This colored resin emulsion is prepared by dispersing colored resin fine particles comprising a vinylic resin containing an organic pigment in an aqueous medium. The ink for the ink jet printing is prepared from the colored resin emulsion. The color filter is prepared from the ink for the ink jet printing.
