<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition having sufficient flame retardance, comprising, as the base material, a thermoplastic resin having no halogen and having improved resistance for sour gas and suppressed of whitening phenomenon. <P>SOLUTION: The insulated wire is obtained by coating an insulating coat comprising a non-halogen flame retardant composition around a conductive copper wire. The non-halogen flame resistant composition comprises 100 pts.wt. polyolefin resin as the base material, 0.1-5 pts.wt. fatty acid amide and 30-120 pts.wt. metalhydroxide as the flame-retardant, wherein the polyolefin resin contains 1-10 wt.% polyethylene having 3,000-5,000 weight-average molecular weight and ≥0.970 g/cm<SP>3</SP>density, the fatty acid amide comprises oleic amide and/or erucic amide and the metalhydroxide comprises magnesium hydroxide and/or aluminum hydroxide. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
